Our mission is to celebrate what makes Southwest Florida special—not just the obvious spots, but the hidden gems.

We created GulfSider to help you find that version of Florida. The best things to do, places to eat, or local events that really highlight how special this place is. So, whether you're visiting for a season or here for a lifetime, GulfSider is your answer to anyone who ever said this place was boring.

Origin Story

"The idea for GulfSider came when I kept hearing about events only after they'd happened—usually through a last-minute Instagram story or a flyer at a coffee shop.

I realized there was no central place to see what was happening across Southwest Florida—so I set out to create it.

My hope is that whether you're a local or just visiting, GulfSider helps you discover the vibrant culture, events, and hidden spots that make Southwest Florida special—so you never miss a great SWFL moment."
