Tucked in the back of a newer strip mall on Old 41, this small spot is part market, part eatery, part indoor wine garden. With delicious classic Italian dishes and cheeses from the family's import business, this spot is a quick trip to one the world's Blue Zones—Sardinia, a Mediterranean Island just off the boot of Italy.

Started by a Sardinian family and run by the family's eldest son, Sebastiano, there's a unique laid-back pace that fully embodies a "good things take time" mentality. Walk in, order, and watch as your food is prepared with meticulous care and love. Fair warning: if anything, Pansardo is the opposite of fast food—reminding us all to take a moment to stop and smell the roses.

So, when you go, try the Caprese sandwich and expect a wait (especially if there are other folks there too), but take a deep breath and enjoy the wait, Sardinian style.
