Known for her soulful voice and sophisticated swing, acclaimed NYC-based jazz vocalist Lucy Wijnands, winner of the prestigious 2021 Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition, joins the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra for the opening program of the All That Jazz series. A Kansas City native, Wijnands brings a deep connection to the vocal jazz tradition, shaped by her studies at SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Music and her experience performing alongside artists including Ron Carter, Houston Person and Joe Magnarelli. Her performances balance classic influences with fresh, modern sensibility.
