Wang Chamber Music with Anthony McGill & Naples Philharmonic.
Clarinetist Anthony McGill joins musicians of the Naples Philharmonic for a program featuring Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Quintet and James Lee III’s Stravinsky-inspired solo work, written specifically for McGill. Between these works, members of the orchestra explore Czech folk influences alongside the European avant-garde in Erwin Schulhoff’s Concertino. Anthony McGill is one of classical music’s most recognizable and multifaceted figures, serving as principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic and recipient of the 2020 Avery Fisher Prize.
