A treasured Southwest Florida tradition, join Gulfshore Ballet and Gulf Coast Symphony for their annual presentation of Tchaikovsky’s beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker.
With original Choreography by Iliana Lopez and Franklin Gamero, this two-act ballet is based on the Alexandre Dumas père version of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s tale, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King (1816), a fantastical holiday tale about a young girl’s Christmas Eve adventure into the Land of Sweets. Experience the holiday magic as 48 musicians, 10 stagehands, and 90 dancers – including more than 70 children – in two alternating casts, join forces to present three spectacular performances.
